Privacy officer
The site owner acts as the designated privacy officer. For any question or request: support@compario.ca.
Information collected and purposes
- Postal code: entered voluntarily, processed only in your browser to determine your province and city. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Outbound clicks: when you click "See offer", we log the plan clicked, the locale, the referring page and the user agent to measure affiliate conversions.
- Technical logs: our host (Vercel) keeps standard connection logs (IP address, requested pages) for security and diagnostics.
Information we do not collect
- No user accounts, email addresses or names.
- No third-party advertising tracking cookies.
- No precise geolocation data.
Consent
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The only data processed is what you voluntarily provide (postal code) and the technical logs required to operate the site. If this changes, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested where the law requires it.
Retention
Anonymized click logs are kept indefinitely for statistical purposes. Technical logs follow our host's (Vercel) retention policies.

- Access: obtain confirmation that we hold information about you and receive a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure: request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligations.
- Portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdrawal of consent: stop any non-essential processing or communication.
To exercise these rights: support@compario.ca. We respond within 30 days.
Confidentiality incidents
In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will notify Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI) and affected individuals, as required by Law 25.
Complaints
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
